A lot of players patience is thin... very thin 0.0

However a lot of players, especially the older players, simply don't have time to find a group due to studies, keeping up social appearance or work. If you have to wait for hours to find a team, then the priorities are mostly (and honestly should be) the former.

That is reason number 1 why I think it's only fair for people to have a decent alternative for these areas.

No, basically I'm saying that some day you'll quit playing. You'll be out doing WoW2 or Aion or GW2 or wahtever the next GW approximation of an MMO is.

And as it stands, when that time comes, UW/FoW/DoA/The Deep/Urgoz will be unplayable for the rest of the players that are fine with a single player experience and are still willing to spend a few hours a week playing a single player game.

7-heros or at the very least pre-set henchies are the only way for GW to survive.

Think it'd be better when Arenanet realizes the population is dangerously low, then an update shall be implemented, leaving whats left to be h/h'd easily.

Yes, it is bad to see SC's along here, and you must realize that when you say "just get another person" some people don't have NF or EotN and may be the only other person that wants/can do Urogoz, and the Deep, ect. with.

Because otherwise I might never see what an elite area looks like.

I'd also like to mention that I've never completed UW, FoW, DoA, etc - it's just not possible with one person and three heroes, not counting gimmicky shadow form bullshit.

If these people who are against seven hero parties continue to have their way, I doubt I'll ever actually be able to do them.

Until the latest ZQ on the Deep I must've spent 30 platinum on scrolls getting there. Do you know how many people I saw in America District 1?

Probably 10 total.

Underworld.

Over the last 6 months I've sat in Temple of The Ages trying to get parties for Underworld. Hours spent doing so - probably close to 2 days total?

So far I've had maybe 2 permas join (through no fault of their own) were obviously new at the profesion. I mean why would a perma join for an Underworld run that can take hours when he can Speed Clear in 15-20 minutes? Pretty much the teams that I get together consist of warriors who are forced to tank, the odd dervish and maybe a monk or necro. The rest end up being heroes. Every time I've had full player teams, someone will either quit, be forced to leave or disconnect.

Honestly - either enable full hero parties so I can vent my frustration at them, or nerf Shadowform so places like the Underworld can be played how they are meant to be. Or if not buff Shadowform again so everyone can use it.

That is probably because of hero/henchmen lol.
Well, in my guild it's because they're all off playing TF2. People move on, sooner or later, and it's not necessarily related in any way to changes in the game they're moving from.

Thus... /signed. The Factions elite missions won't work as a H/H for reasons that have been described, but the others should be at least possible to attempt. There are enough benefits to forming a group that people should still have incentive to do so when possible, but when not (when not playing a SC-approved profession between now and when permasins die, for instance) there should be a viable alternative.

Regarding Urgoz's Warren and The Deep... I'm inclined to think these areas should possibly be made free to enter the lobby, but require a scroll or a member of the correct guild in order to do the mission and access the summoning stone crafter. At the moment these missions require you to pay the price of entry just to see if there's a group available with no form of refund if there isn't, which is probably a strong disincentive to many players to even try.

Can't see any problem with the idea, would be hard to clear the underworld with H/H but I think that's up to the individual to determine whether they want to spend 1k trying or not.

The problem is lack of content and reward. Urgoz and Deep had many people before zquests, since people already had 10-50 Urgoz bows, etc.

Well if you keep on putting in more content and reward it would get too full of that at some point, so you would have to do something else about it.

I have never brought them, so removing them would be good.

But I'd bother more about Speed Clears.
